  After booking online, receiving confirmation emails and texts, we arrived on the morning of our house move with no van to be seen. We were told we should have called to confirm (not even a direct number online!!) with the blame thrown back at us, the PAYING customer. Worst customer service I have ever experienced - no apology, only attitude. Thank goodness Avis and Budget are next door... saving people from the disaster that is Thrifty Wollongong.

  They always park their vehicles on the footpath which is meant to be no parking. Pedestrian Safety is at risk.

  Good prices. You get what you ask for. Nothing fancy but it does the job you want it to.

  Very smooth online booking. Staff were friendly and helpful and the car was upgraded to a slightly larger model for the same price. We had kids and lot of luggage and even though it was closing time on a Sunday we were offered a lift to the train station. I can't fault the service.
