The Public Art Portrait Wall at Thirroul is an initiative the Council can be proud of. The photographic portraits in black and white give a great snapshot of the local community as I discovered recently on a visit. Sitting in the cafe opposite the wall I 'recognised' some of the faces and enjoyed watching people enjoying themselves or fellow locals. It is totally engrossing. I was also amused by the conversations and comments I heard around me. What derision! What diversity! What a great idea!

The staff were very efficient and welcoming. We concluded our business within five minutes of walking through the door.
